Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the September Stamp of the Month Bog Hop!  This month we are featuring Family Is Forever-set of 7 images.  If you have come here from DAWN ROSS'S BLOG, you are on the right path.  This is a circular hop & very easy to follow.  Simply click the link at the bottom of each post to move onto the next blog.  If you get lost along the way, a complete list of all the hoppers can be found right  HERE.

This is such a cute stamp set this month!  With over 75 consultants participating in this Blog Hop, you're sure to see alot of super-cute ideas and different ways to use it.

Here's a look at my project......

I was inspired by the pumpkin wooden shape in the Pathfinding Assortment (Z3012).  It reminded me of Fall, Thanksgiving and Pumpkin Pie-which led me to create the pie box on pg. 70 of the Cricut Artiste booklet.

I set the size dial to 6 inches and cut the bottom of the box out of a sheet of Pathfinding paper (X7186B).  The top was also cut at 6 inches, out of Champagne cardstock.  The hearts were cut from Artiste as well, at 1 3/4 inches and stamped with Glacier ink (Z2641).  I stamped the small flower image with Champagne ink (Z2174) along the edge of the box top.  I traced the lid, then cut a coordinating triangular-shaped piece of Pathfinding paper for the top of the lid.

The edges of all the papers and cardstock were sponged with Chocolate ink (Z2111).  The sentiment was stamped with Chocolate ink as well.  I added some Gold Shimmer Trim (Z1985) along the bottom of the box and on top for extra sparkle.  The bow is Neutral Bakers Twine (Z1921) with a Gold Bling Gem (Z2023) in the middle.

This box would be perfect at Thanksgiving to send a piece of pie home with your guests.  I would probably line the inside of the box with wax paper first.

Next up is BRENDA LAPP!  Head on over to her blog & see what she has created. Contact your consultant to purchase the September Stamp of the Month-Family Is Forever.

Thanks for hopping by!

A Little Bit of Spring with Chantilly

Today I thought I would share a layout that I created as a Make & Take for a crop I was at this past weekend.  The inspiration for this layout came from one I had seen which was created by Brenda R.-a very talented artist/consultant.  She did a similar layout using the Claire papers.  I chose to use the same page design, only with the Chantilly papers.  The title, stamped image and the flowers were cut out using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  The stamp set I used is from the Buzz & Bumble WOTG Kit.
