Floral Happiness

Spring is in the air, I can feel it!  I am so ready for warmer weather and happy that I live in the northeastern United States and get to experience all 4 seasons.  I cannot wait to wake up to the birds chirping and tulips popping up out of the ground.  Aahhh...someday soon!

But for now I wanted to share a few cards that were created using the March Stamp of the Month-Floral Happiness.  This set is available this month for just $17.95 OR only $5 with a $50 purchase.

The rose images in this set are very pretty and elegant, perfect for second generation stamping and layering.  For these cards, I stamped the rose image 3 different times in different sizes, then cut them all out.  I used 3-D Foam Tape to pop up the layers, giving it more depth and dimension.

 



 

 

 

Here's a couple other beautiful designs created by my upline Lynn and sister consultant Wendy.  They also layered the flower and crumpled it-giving it a different look.  Very pretty!

Here's a look at another option when using this kit.  I simply used the reverse side of the B&T paper and added a little Buttercup cardstock, Cotton Candy & Buttercup inks to create a softer, more feminine look.

Next up on my favorites list is the Canvas Home Decor Kit.  This kit contains products to create a wall hanging in your choice of 2 different color schemes.  This would be a beautiful artwork addition to your home.  It would also make a great Mother's Day gift!  I just got my kit and cannot wait to put it together.

It may be because I have 2 boys, but the Later Sk8r kit is my all time favorite!  I love the colors and think it just screams BOY.  Can't wait to work with this kit.

Saddle Up with Clementine or Dakota!

I'm Calling all Cowboys (or girls) to head on over to my ranch in February for a down home scrapbooking workshop!  It's gonna be a Rowdy Time with your choice of Clementine (a feminine country floral) or Dakota (more masculine country flair).

First up at the rodeo is Clementine.  These pages were designed by Lynn Como.  I love the floral patterns, Canvas Complements Shapes and the Brown/Tan Sparkles-which add a little bling.  The Cottage Assortment is my favorite though.  These adhesive backed, layered fabric flowers come with the buttons already attached and really add dimension to your pages. The Canvas Alphabet works well with this kit too, for adding titles-which I still need to do on the first layout.

Now, for all your little Cowboys we have Dakota.  I especially love this kit since I have 2 little cowpokes of my own, and the colors are perfect for many occasions.  The metallic stickease and Round Durables Studs add a special touch, and the wood grain paper reminds me of barn wood.  Have you tried the Houndstooth Alphabet yet?  They come white, but when sponged with ink, the houndstooth pattern appears, so cool!

LOVE is in the air-Valentine's Day Workshop!

February is LOVE month!  And to celebrate all of the LOVES in your life, I'm offering you two different options for my Valentine's Day workshop.  This workshop will be held at my home in Choconut, PA on February 7th from 6-9PM or February 9th from 10AM-1PM.  If you would like to participate I need your order & payment by January 20th.  You can contact me via phone or email.

The first option is the January Stamp of the Month Valentine Cards, using the color combination of Whisper, Slate, White Daisy & Ruby (if you own these inks, bring them along or purchase for $5.25 ea.).  The January Stamp of the Month is very elegant and contains gorgeous roses and beautiful sentiments.  The cost of this workshop is $15 and it makes 6 cards. You will need to bring your own adhesive, glue dots & basic tool kit.  Here's what's included;
