Ready for SPRING???

I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready for SPRING!  That snow outside sure looks pretty, but I'm over it!  So, to put you in the mood for Spring today, I thought I would share some artwork I created with the February Stamp of the Month-Easter Bunny.  This little bunny family is adorable! You can purchase this stamp set this month for $17.95 or place a $50 order and get it for only $5!

I had so much fun creating with this set.  I think it pairs nicely with the Hello Lovely paper pack since the colors and floral patterns remind me of Spring.  All of the products (papers, ribbon, embellishments) used on these cards are part of the Hello Lovely Workshop Your Way Kit.  I used watercolor pencils and the small waterbrush to color in the images.  I love the softer look it creates.

Next up is a single page layout I created with the same Hello Lovely papers and the Easter Bunny Stamp Set.   The sequins are actually from the Dreamin Big Workshop Your Way Kit, but it's ok to mix up products from various kits.  I think they coordinate well.

The Easter Bunny Stamp Set is available only during February-so grab yours today and start creating something fabulous for Spring!

Hopscotch Flip Flap Workshop

Do you suffer from photo overload?  Are you the type of person who likes to take a ton of pictures and fit them ALL onto your pages?  If so, then be sure to join in this month's scrapbook workshop where I will teach you how to create an interactive layout using Flip Flaps to add more photos to your pages.

2 Page Layout-Both Pages Closed

This month's project was inspired by the super-talented Lisa Stenz.  You can view her blog HERE.

To create this project, you will be using products featured in the Seasonal Expressions catalog, which is available through March 31, 2015.  The Hopscotch line is a favorite of mine!  The colors are so bright and cheerful, perfect for any Springtime activity or event.  By adding several sizes of Flip Flaps this 2 page layout will hold 32 photos!

Left Page-Flaps Open

Right Page-Flaps Open

Several of the photo mats and Picture My Life cards are placed inside of Flip Flaps, which lift up, allowing you to add more photos underneath.

In addition to the Flip Flap layout, I've also created a traditional 2 page layout to go along with it.

I will be hosting this workshop on March 22, 2015 from 2-6pm, at my home in Choconut, PA.  If you would like to participate, I will need your RSVP and payment by March 8th.  The cost is $40 and includes the following supplies;

  • X7194B Hopscotch Level 2 Paper Pack
  • X7194C Hopscotch Complements
  • Z3045 Hopscotch Picture My Life Cards
  • Z1747 Flip Flaps Small Asst.
  • Z1325 Flip Flaps 12" Asst.
  • 5  4x6 Flip Flaps
  • 2  12x12 Memory Protectors
  • 1 Sheet Gold Sequins
  • Extra Cardstock
  • My Cutting Guide

You will need to BYO Basics-paper trimmer, scissors, adhesives, glue dots, 3D foam tape, black journaling pen etc.  This is a rather lengthy workshop.  Please note that I have allowed 4 hours to complete the project, but it will be so worth your time!  You are going to love Flip Flaps when you're finished!

A Little Bit of Spring with Chantilly

Today I thought I would share a layout that I created as a Make & Take for a crop I was at this past weekend.  The inspiration for this layout came from one I had seen which was created by Brenda R.-a very talented artist/consultant.  She did a similar layout using the Claire papers.  I chose to use the same page design, only with the Chantilly papers.  The title, stamped image and the flowers were cut out using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  The stamp set I used is from the Buzz & Bumble WOTG Kit.
