Another favorite product of mine is Picture My Life (PML) Cards.  They're great for quick pocket-style scrapbooking, but take a look at another way you can use the Picture My Life Cards.  Here I've created a few traditional layouts using the Love Your Selfie PML Set and some cardstock overlays I cut out using the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge. 

If you LOVE these layouts, this could be an option for the open workshop day as well! You'll need several sheets of cardstock (which you can purchase at the workshop) plus you'll need to order the following items to create the PML layouts.

Card Klub now forming!

Do you LOVE making handmade cards, or would you like to learn? If so, then Card Klub might be for YOU!  It's FUN, easy and affordable, plus I'll be there to teach you every step of the way!  

A new round of Card Klub begins in May and meets monthly.  Each month the hostess will choose a stamp set of her choice and I'll create 4 cards using that set.  You'll need to bring your own adhesives, glue dots, pop dots & scissors. Card kits will be pre-cut, you do the stamping and assembling.  

Prices range from $10-$25, depending on the size of the stamp set used to create the cards.

Less than a week remains to Share The Love!

I've had a litte bit of time to create a few pieces of artwork using this fun stamp set.  It works well for cardmaking or scrapbooking.  This one page layout came together easily using some papers from the Kaliedescope kit.  I made use of the Canary stencil that was leftover from cutting flowers on my Cricut.  Using my Watercolor Paints, I brushed a few lighter colors behind it and used it for a background.  The flowers were cut out using Cricut Artistry.  I added a few images from the Share The Love stamp set and some Gold Bling Gems.  

Next I created a couple of cards using some scraps from the Penelope Kit.  Again, I used my Watercolor Paints for a quick wash of color.  Once dry, I then stamped the camera image 3 times & the sentiment using Black Memento Ink.  Added some Glacier Twine and Blue Gems and called it good! 

The second card was the easiest one to create and I think it's my favorite!  Brushed on a few colors for a background, then loaded my brush with black watercolor paint and tapped the brush to create the splattered look.  Once dry, I used Memento Ink to stamp the sentiment & image, added some Glacier Twine and Silver Sequins.  Love this look!

Charlotte Scrapbook & Card Workshop

With Spring just around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to feature the Charlotte Workshop Your Way Kit.  The soft colors and floral patterns are absolutely gorgeous and will have you ready for Spring in no time at all!

I'd like to offer you a couple of options this month, featuring the Charlotte Workshop Your Way Kit. The first option is a Scrapbook Workshop which features 3 two-page layouts.  

The second option is a card workshop which makes 9 cards, 3 ea. of 3 designs,  and uses the Watercolor Paints, Springtime Wishes Stamp Set and Thin Cuts (which can be used in your embossing machine).

  

The third option is both the Scrapbook Workshop and the Card Workshop combined.  Close To My Heart has created a cutting guide complete with photos and instructions for both of these workshops, which you can print out from my website, RIGHT HERE.  So even if you can't attend the workshop, you'll have the cutting guides and instructions to create the pages & cards at your convenience.

Balloon Animal Inspiration

These cute little Balloon Animals are part of the February Stamp of the Month titled, what else but....Balloon Animals.  I used the Enchantment Fundamentals papers to create these fun cards.
